When the team at Feminists for Life planned an update to its resource guide, “Raising Kids on a Shoestring,” the expectation was that another magazine-style print edition would be adequate. It wasn’t. The range of information and assistance available to pregnant and parenting individuals has grown so much that print doesn’t do it justice. Instead, FFL now has a separate web site full of “free and frugal resources, smart and creative solutions, and practical support”: kidsonashoestring.com.
I haven’t explored it fully, but anything that affirms life AND helps overcome the feeling of helplessness that accompanies a crisis pregnancy is OK with me. The PDF embedded below is from kidsonashoestring.com, and Feminists for Life hopes that lots of people will share it. I’m just doing my part here.
