New Video from Daleiden & Center for Medical Progress

“How can we ever make America great again as long as our laws and our policies say our children are worth more dead than alive?” David Daleiden posed the question at the Values Voter conference in Washington, D.C. earlier this month. He announced to the crowd that a new Center for Medical Progress video was forthcoming. This week, he delivered, documenting further the body-parts business that is integrated with the abortion industry.

In this new video, he interviews whistleblower Holly O’Donnell, former procurement technician for StemExpress, a company which worked in conjunction with Planned Parenthood affiliates to obtain fetal body parts. The video includes undercover footage of lab workers sorting “POC” (products of conception, i.e. aborted children), and here’s fair warning that some viewers may find the video hard to take.

At Values Voter, Daleiden started his presentation with a self-deprecating remark about his tendency to speak too long, adding that if he did, “You can always call the California Attorney General’s office and they will be happy to send eleven jackbooted thugs to carry me off the stage.” California is where 15 charges were filed against Daleiden and colleague Sandra Merritt over the CMP videos – and where 14 of those charges were dismissed on grounds of “legal insufficiency.”

It’s been two years since CMP’s first video was released. Yet, said Daleiden, Planned Parenthood and its allies continue “the lie that my videos are highly edited. In reality, my videos are highly accurate. After two years, Planned Parenthood still cannot deny that the people featured on these videos are their own top abortion doctors, speaking their own words that have so shocked and outraged the public, captured on camera for all the world and all of history to see.”

He is confident that President Trump would sign a bill to keep public funds from going to Planned Parenthood “if the Senate would do its job, abolish the filibuster and restore constitutional order. We are just one vote away from zeroing out [funding].” He pointed out that when Trump proposed an end to defunding efforts if PP would stop doing abortions, PP declined.

“I promise you I am not backing down in the face of Planned Parenthood’s attacks. I am all in to defeat them in every courtroom….Please continue to share these videos….[I]f we stay focused and work together, we will hasten the day when there is no longer a price tag on human life.”

Abortion investigators charged in California; another undercover video released

From LifeSiteNews.com: David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress have been charged in California with 15 felony violations of recording confidential conversations in connection with CMP’s undercover investigation of body-parts trafficking by Planned Parenthood affiliates.

Texas authorities tried the same thing awhile ago, and later had to drop the charges.

CMP isn’t backing down. Today, it released a new video featuring a conversation with an Arizona abortionist. The abortion provider talks about Arizona’s law requiring care for children who survive attempted abortion. Seem that the determination of whether a child has survived depends in part on who’s in the room.

Coincidentally, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America is spearheading a #PinkOut day on social media, encouraging PP supporters to sport pink pro-PP profile images and posts. And Then There Were None, an organization for former abortion workers, suggests an alternative:

 

Planned Parenthood Leader’s Revealing Tweet

I don’t follow Cecile Richards on Twitter; life’s too short. I do follow David Daleiden, though, ever since his Center for Medical Progress videos documented the baby-parts business in some Planned Parenthood affiliates. Daleiden recently re-tweeted something from Richards.

In case the embedded tweet doesn’t show up for you, @CecileRichards on March 6 said, “Planned Parenthood is proud to provide abortion – a necessary service that’s as vital to our mission as birth control or cancer screenings.”

Save this. The next time a PP contract comes before the Executive Council, every Councilor needs to see Richards’ tweet, preferably about 500 times over.

If you understand that abortion is not health care, save this.

If you understand that PP’s business model depends on using its patients as human shields (give-us-a-contract-or-else-we’ll-deny-cancer-screenings-to-women), save this.

If you understand that PP uses its supposedly non-abortion contract funds for “infrastructure” at facilities where abortion is performed, save this.  Don’t take my word for it; New Hampshire’s HHS commissioner is the one who let that slip during a public Executive Council meeting last year. Infrastructure is just a four-syllable way of saying “overhead.”

Cecile Richards says that abortion is “vital” (ironic use of a word whose Latin root means “life”) to PP’s mission.

There’s no excuse for forgetting that.

Texas judge dismisses charge against pro-life undercover journalist

When I last reported on David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress, CMP recordings had just been seized by California officials. It was one more retaliatory legal headache for the journalist whose undercover videos revealed trafficking in body parts by Planned Parenthood affiliates.

Now, another state’s politically-motivated prosecution of Daleiden has taken a hit. A Texas judge has dismissed a charge against Daleiden for trafficking in body parts. You read that right: the local prosecutor decided to go after Daleiden, not Planned Parenthood.

Peter Breen is Special Counsel with the Thomas More Society, which is defending Daleiden. Remarking on the dismissal of the Texas charge, he said, “The Harris County prosecutors were in such a rush to criminalize David Daleiden that they did not properly obtain grand jury approval of each of the elements of the charged misdemeanor.” Breen’s full statement is here.

The judge who dismissed the charge may or may not have been aware of the recent revelation that Planned Parenthood’s legal team received confidential materials about the Daleiden case from the district attorney prosecuting the case.

Breen had something to say about that, too:

“The recent filings by the Harris County District Attorney confirm that the DA shared confidential documents and information with abortion provider Planned Parenthood, colluding with it in the prosecution of David Daleiden. These filings also include evidence that appears to show that the DA’s office worked with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to undermine the Texas Attorney General’s independent investigation of that abortion provider. The conduct of Harris County prosecutors in this case is outrageous and illegal. We look forward to pressing our motion to quash this indictment in court.”

I’m sure California prosecutors are keeping an eye on Texas, wondering how far a politically-motivated prosecution can go.

As a coalition of groups around the country called for a day of protest outside of Planned Parenthood facilities on April 23, New Hampshire Right to Life organized events near PP offices in Manchester and Derry.

No buffer zones were posted at either location. An officer in a  police cruiser monitored the Manchester event from a nearby parking lot, but there was no counter- demonstration to the peaceful pro-life witness on Pennacook and Elm Streets. Derry’s event was at the intersection of Birch Street and Broadway, a high-visibility intersection a short block away from PP’s Derry office.
