Come to Manchester next Saturday, December 6, for a concert to benefit the Pray for Life Center. Victorian carolers in full costume will sing in celebration of the Christmas season. Dec. 6, 6:00 pm, Church of the Protection of Blessed Virgin Mary, corner of Lowell and Walnut Streets, Manchester. Admission charge is a donation of any amount to the Pray for Life Center. (I heard these carolers this week – and we’re in for a treat!)

From New Hampshire Right to Life: You can download and distribute this flyer with the schedule for New Hampshire’s January 17 March for Life. Catherine Adair will be the day’s featured speaker. She’s visited Leaven for the Loaf a few times, writing about her experience as an adoptive mom, her onetime work at Planned Parenthood, and a good conversation with a PP promoter.

Taking the Offense Against Suicide, from the Lifeline Against Suicide Team: “We need to join together and form a chain of loving defense against suicide.” A thought-provoking post from Sister Mary Rose of the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Healing Love.

Marcel Schruer of England sent me his own message of recovery and hope in the face of catastrophic illness. Enjoy his short video with his message Life is beautiful … always.

During this open enrollment period for healthcare, the federal government has managed to issue yet another Obamacare regulation to make it harder, not easier, for Americans to keep their health care dollars away from abortion providers. Mary Harned of Americans United for Life has the story.

Here’s an end-of-November hello-Advent post-snowstorm no-more-power-outage palate cleanser: Elizabeth Scalia (AKA The Anchoress) writes about Duke Ellington and the Great Christmas Secret. Yes, that Duke Ellington. Enjoy.
